Kiara’s drunk walk (ataxia) never got better and we suspected that something was wrong, even though vestibular experts assured us that her symptoms were reflective of an inner ear problem and not cerebellar. We made an appointment with a neurologist, who believed that her vision was to blame so he recommended vision therapy.  We asked about an MRI and he said that she was so little that it would require general sedation and it’s a lot to put her through. Pro Tip: Get the MRI!!
